This functional environmental work (a traffic-noise barrier) is intended to improve residential amenity, while simultaneously enlivening the courtyard area, and ordering and creating minor details to give multi-dimensional spatia effects. At the same time as the work isolates the building’s courtyard area, it also visually integrates it into the surrounding urban space. The work was designed and realized with technical design assistance from ALA Architects.
